The Faculty of Pharmacy of the Universidade de Lisboa (FFUL), in conjunction with the Military Laboratory of Chemical and Pharmaceutical Products (LMPQF)), is validating the production of disinfectants and alcogel for hospitals. The increase in the production of these two cleaning products made it necessary to make use of the existing partnership with FFUL to collaborate in the microbiological control of these products.

The tests are being carried out at the Microbiological Control Laboratory of the Association for the Development of Teaching and Research in Microbiology (ADEIM), which is based at FFUL, under the supervision of FFUL’ Teaching Staff and Researchers in the area of Microbiology and Immunology.

FFUL is committed to supporting the community response to combat the pandemic COVID-19 in collaboration with entities and companies that wish to do so.
